My First Stall at the Wanaka A&P Show – A Day to Remember!

This past weekend was a milestone for me—I had my first-ever stall at the Wanaka A&P Show! As part of the brand new Local Larder tent, sponsored by NZ Life & Leisure, I joined an amazing group of passionate producers celebrating the best of local food and craft.

The atmosphere was buzzing, and I couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to the world of market stalls. The support from the community was incredible, and it was a real privilege to share my products with so many curious, kind, and food-loving visitors.

A definite highlight? Meeting Chef Peter Gordon! As a long-time admirer of his work, it was surreal to chat with him right there in the tent. He was warm, supportive, and genuinely interested in what everyone was creating—such an encouraging presence.

Huge thanks to NZ Life & Leisure for supporting the Local Larder concept—it gave first-timers like me the opportunity to be part of something special. I’m already looking forward to next year!
